Reflection Task-2

   In today’s world, we can barely think a home that doesn’t have a TV. It’s because television has been an indispensable part of our lives without any doubts. However, TV which people watch for hours poses a serious threat to us. I don’t deny the advantages of TV, but the disadvantages of it outweigh. One of the disadvantages of it is that it stupifies us. We just sit and watch it. In other words, it doesn’t give us any opportunity to think much and create new ideas. Such TV programs as marriage shows and aimless competition shows don’t provide any benefits for us. They are just waste of time for our social lives. The other disadvantage of TV is that it has bad affects on our physical health. It gives off radiation which is fatal and harmful for our health. It may seem trivial, but being exposed to  to much radiation will cause serious diseases like cancer. In addition, if we watch more TV, it deteriorates our eyes. Especially little children are more  likely to be affected. On the whole, TV has many disadvantages, but two stand out, so are we aware of all these disadvantages ? ıf so, why are we stil watching TV ? 

Reflection Task 1-A

   Hi ! My name is Deniz. I’m 32 years old.I had dreamt to be a business woman since I was a child,and now I’m a business woman. I graduated from METU.I’m working in a prestigious international company in Italy.I often travel around the world because I’m in one of the highest position in this company.I have to say that I earn a lot of money,but it doesn’t mean I’m happy.I have already been married,but my marriage didn’t work.As a consequence,we divorced after 15 months. My ex-husband was a business man too,and he used to work a lot. He didn’t use to take care of me and my needs. He only used to bring me lots of presents to make me forgive his absence. After many argues, I tried to ask him to be ever-present in my life. I decided to divorce,so now I’m looking for a man who doesn’t give me flowers,but he gives me his love ! I have more than enough money;therefore,I don’t care whether he whom I’m looking for is rich or not. Whatsmore,now I’m talking about my hobies. I’am always in office. I want to be in nature because it makes me feel relaxed,so I like mountain hiking and also, I have chalet where I go every Sunday. I like animals. I have a dog whose name is Pavlov. He is my best friend.He is getting more and more faithful to me day by day. I don’t like cats because when I was a child a cat bit me;for this reason, I haven’t liked cats since then. In addition to liking animals,I like reading books so much, but I don’t have enough time to read dueto my work. I also enjoy doing ice skating. It’s very awesome activity. What about my personality ? I am a fastidious person. In other words, it’s hard to please me. I’m a serious woman owing to my job besides my fastidious quality. Unfortunately,I am also a cleaning addict woman. I have a memory about  this quality. One day, when I was university, my friend and me were watching movie on the Internet. While we were watching,I was cleaning my computer’s screen, so my friend was angry at me, but it is beyond my control. I think I gave enough information about myself. I have a lot of work to do. I am teaching business course to 24 business student from different countries these days.
